Optimised suspension for greater driving stability and comfort
A progressive spring is fitted to the rear shock absorber as part of the series equipment. This offers a soft first spring rate, but becomes significantly too hard in the second spring rate. In addition, the rebound damping is slightly oversized ex works. Furthermore, we have noticed that the vehicle tends to ‘tip in’ excessively when cornering.
In our suspension conversion, we rely on a high-quality linear spring which, in combination with specially tuned rebound and compression damping, enables significantly more stable and predictable handling behaviour. The vehicle remains more controlled when leaning - unpleasant cornering is a thing of the past. The result: noticeably more ride comfort and safety.
In addition, we have specifically optimised the excessive negative suspension travel of the standard suspension at the front and rear wheels in order to further improve the overall handling.
Important: Despite all the modifications, the seat height remains identical to the standard model.
