Give your new BMW R12 G/S the handling it deserves! In keeping with the legendary first G/S, the R12 G/S offers long suspension travel as standard – 235 mm at the front and 205 mm at the rear. But it is only with our professional suspension setup that it unleashes its full potential.
Cartridge fork with room for improvement
The standard, fully adjustable fork is technically high-quality, but in practice it has significant weaknesses: the linear fork springs, which are too soft, lead to spongy and unstable handling. During heavy braking maneuvers and on deeper bumps, the fork dives deeply and becomes noticeably uncomfortable due to the extremely small air chamber.

Instead, we use progressive Zero Friction fork springs with specially tuned fork oil and an optimized air chamber. The result: noticeably more driving stability, more precise feedback, and significantly increased driving comfort—both on the road and off-road.

Standard shock absorber with immature tuning
The original shock absorber is too soft and leads to unbalanced handling – the rear sags too low, which negatively affects the vehicle geometry and thus also the handling.
Our shock absorber variants, customised to customer specifications, ensure an optimally tuned damping setup, the correct negative spring travel and balanced chassis geometry – thus guaranteeing precise handling in every driving situation.
