BMW F 450 GS Suspension Upgrade – More Comfort, Traction and Riding Feel

The standard suspension of the BMW F 450 GS offers great potential for improvement. Our suspension solutions optimize response, comfort and stability for a noticeably more balanced riding experience on and off the road.
The original fork features a linear spring rate that is too stiff and excessive damping, which results in insufficient response and an unsuitable amount of negative travel. For our upgrade, we use progressive fork springs with a softer initial spring rate and an adapted end rate. Combined with the optimized air chamber and our specially tuned fork oil, this creates a much more sensitive and balanced front end.
The rear shock is also specifically optimized. The original spring is generally suitable, but the rebound damping is too strong, especially on poor road surfaces, causing reduced comfort and less contact with the ground. Our shock absorbers are individually manufactured according to your requirements and specifications. The spring rate and damping characteristics are precisely adapted to your riding style and intended use.
With the optimized rebound and compression damping, the BMW F 450 GS becomes significantly more stable, provides improved traction and delivers better feedback from the motorcycle. At the same time, riding comfort is noticeably increased.
The negative suspension travel at the front and rear is individually optimized and adjusted. The seat height remains unchanged at the original factory level.
