Wilbers-PA
solution maybe is the most comfortable way to adjust the spring preload. Using a hand knob that comes with a bracket specified for your motorcycle, you can easily adjust the riding level to match additional passenger and/or loading situations. The adjustment range is 10 mm.
The X-PA offers you the option to regulate the spring preload and therewith the vehicle level by the included box spanner in a breath. The purely mechanical adjustment mechanism is very light and, due to its robustness, best suited for enormous loads. The adjustment range is 15 mm.
The ZF-PA is a hydraulic spring tensioner that is directly integrated on the shock absorber. The advantage is that you do not have to mount an external hand knob to the vehicle. Nowadays especially current motorcycle models rarely offer space for a separate had wheel. Easily reachable and adjustable without much force, this preload option can be tuned for up to 15 mm.
The
E-PA is an electrohydraulic spring preload. This system is exclusive to our WESA-X shock absorbers. Using the control unit of the WESA-X system, you can adjust the seating level at the push of a button to different loading situations in 5 steps.

With
the Wilbers ride-height-adjustment the length of the shock absorber can be modified over a thread located at the lower shock mount for +/-5mm. Normally this is possible while the shock absorber is installed.
Depending on the type of the motorcycle, the seating height can be adjusted for up to +/-15mm. This is for example useful on the racetrack to influence the caster and therewith the steering behavior of the motorcycle.
In series production, the shock absorber of the Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 Factory KG has noticeably too much rebound damping. The Wilbers shock absorber has been optimised in rebound and compression damping.
Thus, it also offers a larger adjustment range than the shock absorber installed ex works.
This way Wilbers achieves a clearly improved handling, which considerably increases driving safety.
All experiences and developments of our racing team flow directly into the individual adjustment of the shock absorber. So you get a real race replica shock absorber from Wilbers!
Ex works the fork is built with linear fork springs. The Wilbers solution also relies on linear fork springs, but with variable gradations depending on the rider's weight, intended use or - when used on the race track - the weather.
Depending on the intended use, we recommend SAE5 or GP5 fork oil, whereby the GP5 variant is particularly suitable for use on the race track.
With the Wilbers conversion, the negative spring travel and the response behaviour are optimised for this.
With swiveling compression tank. With this shock absorber the compression reservoir is mounted diagonally and is swiveling. This offers many different installation options in nearly all vehicles with limited space. A solid milled part with integrated high- and low-speed compression adjustment forms the upper mount. Connected to it is the compression reservoir. Compression and rebound damping can be modified in 22 clicks each thus offering all possibilities for fine tuning without compromises. Suspension disturbances due to uncontrollable jolts are effectively prevented by a pressure control valve. The spring basis can be adjusted infinitely variable using the enclosed hook spanner or even hydraulically. The angle of the compression tank can be changed later on by one of our trained Wilbers partners.
