When lowering the fork, it is important that the front and rear are lowered by the same amount. Failure to do so will result in a changed chassis geometry, which could potentially lead to negative handling characteristics. The special Wilbers fork spring kit adjusts the front to match the lowered rear. Installation requires a certain level of expertise and special tools.
However, to perfect the function of your fork, we recommend having our in-house special overhaul 016-0200-18 (€489 including materials) performed on this model. This significantly optimizes the fork's sliding and damping properties.
