Product information
The Harley Davidson Tri Glide series, regardless of the year of manufacture, have too low spring rates on the rear suspension struts ex works. As a result, the vehicle bounces on the rear axle and the rider suffers unpleasant bumps in the back.
The Wilbers conversion therefore relies on spring struts with an adapted, optimised spring rate and adapted rebound and compression damping.
Compared to the rear standard suspension, however, the fork is too hard, resulting in unharmonious handling behaviour. One example is the bending of the handlebars on uneven road surfaces. The Wilbers fork springs solve this problem.
Riding comfort and safety are considerably improved.
