The Wilbers 642 S Competition shock absorber, like all Wilbers shock absorbers with reservoir, offers comprehensive adjustment options – but with even more comfort. It is equipped with a single compression valve which is operated by hand. Why only one valve? Quite simply: it is much easier to adjust and still fulfills all the requirements of both the machine and the rider. The newly developed high-flow compression valve guarantees a higher oil flow, which ensures that the shock absorber responds particularly sensitively without restricting the adjustment range. The large, external expansion tank also ensures effective cooling of the damper oil, even under intensive use, and thus guarantees a constant damper characteristic curve.

Moreover, the 642 S Competition relies on proven Wilbers technology. In the basic version, the spring preload is infinitely adjustable with a hook wrench and the rebound can be adjusted manually in 22 clicks. Additional components, such as hydraulic preload adjuster, can be added via the configurator.

The 642 S Competition shock absorber is ideal for long journeys on demanding roads, off-road use and for ambitious country road riders. In addition, customized setup based on rider data ensures perfect handling for every rider weight and load conditions.

Furthermore, the 642 S Competition shock absorber comes with a 7-year warranty. Thanks to our ABE, no registration in the vehicle documents is required. *
