Wilbers Products GmbH strives to make its website accessible in accordance with national legislation on accessibility – in particular the Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG) and the associated regulation (BFSGV).

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with the requirements of EN 301 549 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA, due to the non-compliances listed below.



Technical aids used

To support accessibility, we have integrated an accessibility widget in the lower-left corner of the screen. This widget allows users to customise the website’s display according to their needs – for example by increasing text size, adjusting contrast, or enabling reading modes. Please note that the widget must first be manually activated and configured to enable the desired functions.

 

 

Continuous improvement

The accessibility of the websites www.wilbers.de and nivomat.wilbers.de is an integral part of our continuous improvement process. Any existing barriers are systematically identified and gradually resolved. We kindly ask for your understanding if limitations still occur from time to time – the technical development of our websites requires regular adjustments that cannot always be implemented immediately.



Non-accessible content

 

a) Non-compliance with national regulations

  • Individual forms and navigation elements are not fully operable via keyboard.
  • Some images lack alternative text.
  • Checkout processes include visual components with insufficient contrast.
  • Videos are partially not subtitled or audio described.
  • PDF documents are not fully prepared for screen readers.

 

b) Disproportionate burden pursuant to § 17 BFSG

For certain older content – in particular archived PDF files within product descriptions – a temporary exemption due to disproportionate burden is currently being applied. These contents will be gradually replaced or supplemented with accessible alternatives.

 

c) Content outside the scope

Some editorial content, such as news articles or image galleries, does not directly fall under the requirements of the BFSG, as it does not contain user-relevant functions.

Upon request, we provide content (e.g. PDFs, videos or image-based information) in accessible formats – such as HTML text, with subtitles, or in a screen reader-friendly structure.
