The original shock absorber on the Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster DX04 is built with only around 80 mm of travel. This means you ride on the buffer even with a low load and impacts are transmitted unfiltered to the back.
For this reason, the shock absorber is made longer by Wilbers Products to ensure more negative suspension travel, comfort and safety.
Linear fork springs are installed in the fork ex works. When diving in, it is noticeable that the fork should be a little harder, especially under heavy braking. For this reason, Wilbers Products relies on progressive fork springs, which offer the advantage of a very good breakaway torque and still have sufficient reserve in dangerous situations.
