WESA – What Is It?

After a long development phase, we introduced our WESA – the Wilbers Electronic Suspension Adjustment – quite early on, and it has been very successful to this day.

So what is ESA? ESA stands for “Electronic Suspension Adjustment”, which refers to electronically controlled suspension and damping.

Our proven solution for BMW models with ESA or KTM models with EDS, meaning motorcycles equipped with electronically controlled suspension systems, is called WESA = “Wilbers Electronic Suspension Adjustment”.

We offer maximum individuality in the setup. You receive a spring rate tailored to your load and the matching damping. If you are struggling to reach the ground securely, we offer suspension lowering options of up to 80 mm.

We can now equip models from BMW, Honda, Triumph and various other manufacturers with electronic suspension solutions. In 2013/14, we even used the BMW S1000RR/HP4 with the DDC suspension system in the IDM Superbike. Leon Camier also rode a motorcycle with this suspension in the WSBK.

If you cannot find a suitable WESA partner, our Wilbers technical team can carry out the coupling for you.

Our WESA products now come with a 7-year warranty, or even a 10-year warranty on WESA Plug & Play shock absorbers, as well as an ABE for almost all models.
