WESA “Plug & Play” Dynamic Feedback Shock Absorbers

The WESA “Plug & Play” Dynamic Feedback shock absorbers were jointly developed by Wilbers and ZF and represent a further evolution of electronically controlled suspension systems for BMW models equipped with Dynamic ESA.

The shock absorbers are based on new ZF components and are equipped with WESA technology as well as manual feedback adjustment. The compression damping can be mechanically adjusted via the adjuster on the reservoir to fine-tune the response to individual rider preferences.

Manufacturing and setup are carried out at the Wilbers factory in Nordhorn. Parameters such as motorcycle model, load scenarios, and desired ride height are taken into account.

Suspension can be installed by the rider or a dealer, including untrained partners. Plug & Play: Plug in – Ride out	Suspension must be coupled and installed by Wilbers or a trained partner. Existing shock absorbers must first be removed and sent in. Coupling with WESA is then carried out either by a dealer or at our facility in Nordhorn, followed by installation. Processing time is typically 2 to 3 weeks, during which the motorcycle cannot be used.
