The BMW 'F' series motorcycles can be optionally equipped with the semi-active 'Dynamic ESA' suspension. Although the highly sensitive and finely adjustable ZF suspension leaves little to be desired, we have gone one step further with our WESA dynamic feedback suspension: This suspension optimisation allows you to lower the motorcycle - while retaining the adjustment options via the ESA switch on the handlebar controls. The suspension also features a special feedback adjuster, which allows you to manually adjust the feedback of the shock absorber step by step. Last but not least, our individual tuning based on rider data ensures optimum handling for every rider's weight and load conditions.
The electronic components of the standard shock are completely reused. We therefore need your original suspension to carry out the conversion. Alternatively, you can have the conversion carried out by one of our trained dealers. You can find a list of trained dealers here

You don't need to worry about the manufacturer's warranty on your standard suspension strut: Our WESA Dynamic Feedback suspension comes with a 5 year warranty. Furthermore, our ABE makes a registration in the vehicle documents unnecessary. *In case of lowering, due to the shortening of the side stand, a modification approval must be carried out at a TÜV centre.

Note:
When converting from ESA to WESA, the function of the ESA control unit will be retained. There are additional costs for coupling. Dynamic ESA suspension
For coupling with the WESA system, the return of your original ESA shock absorber is required. The installation costs amount to 149 EUR per shock absorber.
