Suspension for Harleys
The sportive XR 1200 holds all genes of the mega-triumphant
XR US-Flat-Track with whom many US dirt track
titles have been gained. We again improved the suspensions‘
stability but also very positively infl uenced handling
and ground clearance. Self-evidently we wanted to
set a course here and matched the elements in terms of
colour.

Suspension for Harleys

and ground clearance. Self-evidently we wanted
to set a course here and matched the elements in terms
of colour. The compression tank houses the adjustments
for low- and high-speed range with 22 clicks each. Additionally
the rebound damping can also be tuned by 22
clicks while the spring preload is continuously adjustable.
Radial shaft technology and wet run offer sensitive
response behaviour and maximum durability.

Street-Rod conversion with Wilbers Suspension products.
With the help of our new TS 640 we lowered the vehicle
for an incredible 45 mm, that‘s what the optic has been
awaiting for. Naturally such lowering measures are possible
with every Rod, or even with every Harley. If required

Black as the night
For the Night Rod Special we developed a special set
of shock absorbers with an outer diameter of 85 mm,
100 mm stroke at the wheel axle, adjustable in rebound
or alternatively compression in 22 clicks each and with
continuously adjustable preload! They are completely
made of 7075 airplane aluminum and anodized black
as the night! We call this new line ?Night" TS 640 and
the shocks turned out to be works of art that seamlessly
blend in the design of the Night Rod Special. They are
simply ?hot" and perfectly setup! The special carbon
coating of the piston rod and the silk-mat surface of all
aluminum parts turn this new line into something very
peculiar.

With progressive fork springs of Wilbers Suspension bottoming out forks and sulky reaction are going to be history. Linear fork springs are the alternative to progressive springs which are perfect for road use. Because on the racetrack what counts is effective adaptation and fast adjustment, undisputedly more simple with linear fork springs. Their repertoire might be smaller compared to progressive springs but in comparison to a bumpy country road, a racetrack is totally flat. At Wilbers even linear springs are machined of chrome-silicon-steel possessing 29 years guarantee. Despite the linear fork spring a progressive compression force still originates from the air chamber.
