Gareth Jones joins the „Wilbers-WITEC-BMW“ for IDM Superbike 2011!!

Following a very positive test ride on Monday after the Hockenheim event, Gareth Jones, shortly before his winter-break at Australians Goldcoast signed a contract with the „Wilbers-WITEC-BMW“ team!

Gareth Jones was very excited about the bikes´ development and rode very fast times right from the start. However he was required to ride “slowly” because the BMW at this time was already sold…. He did not seem to be threatened by this fact and showed the team his claim for a position among the top 5 in 2011.

We think that with Mr. Jones we picked the best available rider with claims for a top 5 position and now look forward to a first test in December so that we’re going to have a good and early preparation for the IDM season 2011...

The second and third rider position for the team are still in the open and we already entered negotiations with riders like Freddy Papunen, Lucas de Carolis, Filip Altendorfer and Irek Sikura!
